Favorite T.O. Memory(S) : I have been thinking a lot about the senior year fun since my daughter is a senior this year. I am just glad she does not have to worry about her school closing.
Profile : I am sending my oldest child Sarah to college in the fall. She
will be going to Ouachita Bapt where I went. My younger daughter, Wendy, will
be 16 in Nov. Last year we moved my parents in with us. They were still living
in Memphis. They are now 80 and doing good. It was even my husband\'s idea
to bring them over. We were able to build a house with a inlaw suite.
I am still working at Little Rock Christian C
School which is as close to TO as you can get. Especially since Roger Yancey
had been our head master. I get to see him about once a year when is comes
to visit.
Comments : Since I was the last wolf mascot I still have the suit. It is in good shape for 30 something years old.

Profile : Married to Robin 7 years. Kids; Tyler 19, Suzanne 17, Jack 5. Family is great. Golf, duck hunting, mountain biking, snow boarding all with my kids. Worked out of Adrent Studios for 15 years, now have my own in Memphis. Travel to NY and LA a lot. I make rock and Christian rock records. 3 Doors Down, Sister Hazel, Saliva, Third Day a few of them. Blessed to be doing what I love.

Favorite T.O. Memory(S) : I loved our AP Biology class with Mrs. Bruno. It was a small group but we learned alot. We worked together in the lab. She expected a lot from us but we all seemed to do well.
I also look back to all the fun we had our senior year. Picnics in the park, trip to Hawaii, graduation etc.
Profile : I was married 5 1/2 years ago. We have 3 girls ages 5,3, and 1. We are homeschooling the oldest. We attend Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Memphis. I guess you could say I have retired from my nursing career after 18 years.

Favorite T.O. Memory(S) : Coach Steve Wherry and all of his great conditional drills for football and baseball. TO had the best group of students and staff to have a very memoriable high school experince.
Profile : Married Nan Hollingsworth in 1983 (class of 79 Briarcrest)
Three great boys: Micah - Senior at Briarcrest(2005), wears my #51 on the
saints football team. Starts at DE. He plays with John Biggs son, Wes Ellis
son, Steve Childs son. Micah also plays varsity baseball.
Matthew - 10th grader at Briarcrest. Plays JV football (6'1", 240lbs)
for the Saints. He is also involved in the high school choir and drama.
Marcus is in the 7th grade at Briarcrest Middle School and plays football
and is invloved in the band and school plays.
Nan is a surgical Nurse at East Memphis Surgery Center. Graduated from Baptist
School Nursing in 1986.
I graduated from Memphis State in 1984 and Mid-America Baptist Theological
Seminary in 1987
I have been an Associate Pastor at churches in Georgia and Arkansas. Most
recently I was the Memphis Area Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
Currently I am in sales at New Horizons Computer Learning Center waiting on
Gods next ministry direction.
My family and I attend Forest Hill Community Church in Eads, TN.
I have two BIG ugly Bulldogs named Max and Melton.

Favorite T.O. Memory(S) : Football camp my sophomore year provided some good memories...I'll never forget when the bus arrived at Sardis. I remember we all sat on the bus in silent dread while the coaches went to sign us in. When Coach Fred got back on the bus, he said "Gentlemen, now you know what hell looks like." Yikes! During the same camp, I remember the seniors "hazing" us young guys. I'll never forget Tim McLellan and Tim Rutherford making my fellow sophomore Parker Proctor run up and knock on the coaches cabin late one night...dressed only in a jockstrap and some pine needles.
I remember Donna Smith trying to teach me to dance...what a waste of both or our times!
Profile : Graduated from Memphis in 83', have been in the safety industry ever since. With a business partner, started a safety equipment distribution company this year. Married in '85 to a St. Agnes girl, have three boys (16, 10, 7) Like so many others, the kids keep us busy too!
Comments : Thanks for the website! I went to T.O. from 6th through 10th grade, then spent two years at Briarcrest. Looking back, I really wish I could have stayed and graduated with my friends at T.O.

Favorite T.O. Memory(S) : The favorite memories are would take years to list.
All the football and basketball stuff, all the freinds from T.O., all the
great teachers, it was all a blast. I almost laughed until I cried when I
read Coach Doss's comment about that gym class. In hindsight, he was right.
If he made us run the whole hour, and we did, we felt like we showed him.
What that was, I don't know.
All the coaches and teachers at T.O. certainly made an impact on mine and
my families lives. Very few days go by that I don"t tell my sons a Coach
Yancey-ism.
Profile : I am the regional VP for Zimmer. We make new knees and hips and orthopedic parts. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Polly for 17 years.We have three great boys 15,13,and 11,(Parker Jr, Patrick, and Paul). My life is filled with work and playing golf or whatever with the boys.When we're not working here, we spend as much time as possible at our beach house in Fripp Island, South Carolina. When the fishing is good, that's where you will find us.

Profile : After T.O. I went to Memphis State for a year and a half. I then went into the drug retail business. I am currantly an overnight manager at a 24 hour Walgreens. I married the former Carol Vineyard ( an Elliston alumnus ) oops! We have 2 girls, Stephanie (20) and Amanda (12). Steph\'s a junior at MTSU and Amanda is in 6th grade at Briarcrest. I was saved at 27 and God has led my family and I into mission work around the world.

Profile : Married two years ago to my second wife (Cindy)the love of my life, had to wait to age 40 to find her. Have two great kids, Brittany (18) graduated this year and will attend U.T. this fall. Andrew (13) will be a freshman in High School and plays football. Started my own business in 1990 and have been very blessed. Love living in Knoxville (been here since 1986) and enjoy attending kids ball games, U.T. football and basketball games and spending my weekends at the lake.

Favorite T.O. Memory(s) : I have lots of good memories, especially our senior year. The senior play Annie Get Your Gun was great fun as was, "quick bread" class and typing class with Mrs. Golden. I am so glad to have gone to school with such great students and staff.
Profile : My husband and I moved to Franklin Tennessee in 1990 where we live today. I have been married for 19 years and have a 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter. My husband owns a logistics business and I work with him part-time. I stay very busy with my children and with their school, sports etc.

Road trips to MO to buy Coors!
Profile : Graduated from Ole Miss, where I met my wife Barb (St. Louis). We were married right out of college and moved to Nashville where I work for Bertlesmann, a media company that publishes music and books.
We have lived in Brentwood for the past 12 years and have four beautiful blonde kids: Tori 17, Kit 15, Kelsey 13, Collin 11. I coach youth football and won the middle TN Championship for age 8-9 last year credited to hours of "Strategy football at TO". We have plenty of room, so if you are ever in the Nashville area give me a call, we are in the book.

Profile : I began working for Dobbs Ford in 1983 while attending Memphis State and stayed after I graduated. I am still there. I have two children, Michael (9), Anabel Grace (6). I have been playing soccer since the 7th grade and am still playing, but now I play both indoor and outdoor. I also coach Michael's team. Like several other T.O. alumni, I am a member of Grace Evan and have been for the past 12 years.
Comments : I stumbled across this website and have spent most of the evening
reliving my days at Towering Oaks. The feeling of family I felt when I first
attended T.O. stays with me always. I rarely see anyone, but I think about
all of you very often. I would like to see a school wide reunion.
